At the beginning of June, Peroni Nastro Azzurro brought their immersive IL PITSTOP experience to Port Vell, Barcelona, as part of its global partnership with the Aston Martin Aramco Cognizant Formula One® Team. Reimagining the perfect pitstop, fans and consumers were able to feel the passion inside the garage via the AMR23 replica car, a bespoke viewing gallery, team radio and an elevated opportunity to sample a crisp and refreshing Peroni Nastro Azzurro 0.0%.

Aston Martin Formula One® Team driver, Fernando Alonso visited IL PITSTOP ahead of its launch where he was able to enjoy the experience from the other side of the cockpit than he’s used to. Alonso gave his seal of approval as he launched the IL PITSTOP tour with Peroni Nastro Azzurro 0.0% brand ambassador Simone Caporale and poured the first non-alcoholic beer onsite.

Commenting on IL PITSTOP, Fernando Alonso said: “The sport has never been so popular as it is today and any opportunity we can provide that brings that unique thrill and excitement of Formula One® to the fans is important both to the team and our partner, Peroni Nastro Azzurro 0.0%. IL PITSTOP gives fans a fantastic opportunity to soak up the atmosphere while drinking responsibly with a non-alcoholic beer.”

Travelling across Europe throughout the summer, IL PITSTOP will visit five European cities including Barcelona, Budapest and Milan during their respective Spanish, Hungarian and Monza Grand Prix, as well as other key cities including Stockholm and Bratislava.
