Asahi Europe & International has no direct production in the Russian Federation or Belarus and we stopped exporting our products there in early March 2022 at the outset of the Russia-Ukraine conflict.

Kozel and Amsterdam Navigator are produced under license in Russia by AB InBev Efes, JSC. Were it our decision, this licensed production would have been suspended immediately. However, we do not have the right to terminate or suspend the license.

Given our serious concerns we have formally requested AB InBev Efes, JSC to cease licensed production of Kozel and Amsterdam Navigator in Russia. We are closely monitoring the situation and will continue to continue to seek a suspension in production.

We believe that military actions that damage the safety, wellbeing and human rights of civilian populations are unacceptable.

Kompania Piwowarska Launches Its Biggest Supply Chain Investment Project

Kompania Piwowarska’s new high-bay warehouse, the construction of which has just begun at the Poznań brewery, will cover 12,000 m², stand 40 meters tall, and accommodate 40,000 pallets. The new investment project will enable the consolidation of the distribution network, allowing the company to deliver more beer directly from the brewery to customer warehouses, thus eliminating the need to maintain satellite or buffer warehouses. This will significantly reduce transportation by increasing direct deliveries to customers from the current 50% to approximately 90%.
